Q2 2023 - PREMIUM Club Shipment
Thanks for being a member of the PREMIUM Wine Club!
The wines in this shipment have been hand-selected by our Tasting Panel.
They have been crafted to be decanted and enjoyed now, or be cellared for future enjoyment.
We do recommend waiting a few weeks to allow the wine to recover from any 'bottle shock' in transit.
Then feel free to enjoy one bottle, and cellar the other for a later date.
Have fun!
Pestoni Family - 2013 Howell Mountain Estate Merlot (Reorder)
- 300 Cases Produced
- Howell Mountain, Napa Valley
- 100% Merlot
- 22 Months in 100% French Oak
Tasting notes:
This distinctive mountain-top Merlot is dark and intense with notes of toasted cedar, wild brambleberry and smoky tobacco. Ripe, fleshy black fruit and deep chocolate flavors give way to a velvety mouthfeel while soft oak tannins complement the classic Howell Mountain minerality. This wine is drinking beautifully today, and will continue to develop for at least another 8 - 10 years.
Westwood Wine - 2017 Twenty One Sonoma Valley Red Wine (Reorder)

Tasting notes:
Honoring the twenty-first vintage from our biodynamically certified Annadel Gap Vineyard and representative of our very best lots, this is the debut of this proprietary estate red blend. Showing hints of menthol, lavender, dried roses with notes of dried, smoked salami, the wine is medium to full-bodied with fine, grainy tannins and finishes with great length and explosive perfume.

Tasting notes:
The 2017 Pellet Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which includes some Merlot and Petit Verdot, offers a rich, medium-bodied style as well as solid purity in its blue fruits, violets, and sappy herb-like aromas and flavors. It's not a blockbuster yet has rock solid elegance, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It's a classy wine to enjoy over the coming 15 years or so.
