Q3 2021 - PREMIUM Club Shipment
Thanks for being a member of the PREMIUM Wine Club!
The wines in this shipment have been hand-selected by our Tasting Panel.
They have been crafted to be decanted and enjoyed now, or be cellared for future enjoyment.
We do recommend waiting a few weeks to allow the wine to recover from any 'bottle shock' in transit.
Then feel free to enjoy one bottle, and cellar the other for a later date.
Have fun!

Stardust – 2015 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Dellar & Friedkin Vineyard (Reorder)
Since 2006, the Dellar & Friedkin families have produced an award-winning single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon on the rocky soils in the eastern foothills of Napa Valley. The 8.3 acre vineyard on Soda Canyon Road sits south of Stags Leap and below Atlas Peak. Only 100 cases are produced each year.
As a restauranteur for over 40 years, Michael Dellar appreciates purchasing red wines with extra bottle age rendering them ready to drink upon release, but with a long future. Stardust is such a wine and the 2015 is the current vintage release.

Tasting Notes: A warm winter (so what else is new?) resulted in an early bud break followed by a wet spring and back to a warm summer. The small crop yielded a concentrated wine, deep garnet in color with a spice box nose of cinnamon and cloves, and deep black cherry and black currant flavors. In a word, it’s delicious. A long persistent finish lingers on the palette thanks to two-plus extra years of bottle aging. It should drink beautifully for another decade, or more.

2018 Estate Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
- $105/bottle
Winemaker: Stephen Cruzan | Resume – Kathyrn Hall Vineyards, Chappellet Winery, Cade.
Tasting notes:
The 2018 Titus Family Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon shows off the typical concentration and depth that is quintessential of the vines grown in the rocky soils at our Ehlers Lane Vineyard. The wine is dark with aromas of cassis, blueberry, roasted coffee, molasses and lifted floral notes. The body is dense and powerful on entry with purity displaying black raspberry, blueberry, and black currant flavors. The structure is focused with mouth-coating tannins that draw the wine through the palate. The finish is rich and lingering, accented by essences of cigar box, dark chocolate and espresso. Enjoy from 2029-2038.

Tasting notes: This 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is harvested from the Stonehaven vineyard and is taken to the winery where the grapes cold soak and then are fermented in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wines are put to French oak barrels for secondary malolactic fermentation and aging. opens with a lovely bouquet of blueberries, black currants, plum, graphite, violets and soft cedar notes. The medium to full-bodied, beautifully integrated tannins are velvety and soft with balanced acidity and a long finish. This wine is ready to enjoy now and will age beautifully for years to come.
